Based in Brackley, UK, Mercedes re-entered F1 as a works team in 2010 and quickly rose to prominence, especially with the introduction of the hybrid era in 2014. Since then, they have gone onto win eight Constructors’ Championship titles and seven Drivers’ Championships with Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton.

The F1 Halo is a titanium safety device introduced in 2018 to protect drivers from head injuries in Formula 1 and other open-wheel racing series. It consists of a curved bar mounted above the cockpit, forming a protective ring around the driver's head.

The halo is made in house by our team of former F1 engineers to create a 1:1 replica of the halo’s used by the team. We use the official CAD drawings of the Halo so we can build them to the exact specification out of carbon-fibre. Once the Halo has been made, it then goes to the Mercedes-AMG F1 factory in Brackley to be painted in the exact same way that the real Halo's are painted.
